WHAT IS THE ART?
Each PATCH BAE NFT contains media created by PATCH BAE (and sometimes collaborators). Often times this includes uncompressed audio files, videos, GIF's, images, and more. When you purchase a PATCH BAE NFT, you not only hold it in your wallet, but you have the ability to download the files used in the creation (and sometimes other files that aren't available anywhere else). We're of the opinion that the art is what makes an NFT valuable, and for that reason, we make sure the art is always incredible.

What Is An NFT?An NFT is a non-fungible token. Essentially, if you own one PATCH BAE NFT, it cannot be traded for the same value as another (the same way one used Tesla will not be worth the same as another). Currently, NFT's are a way for people to create community, and fund their businesses. However, there's a lot that goes into NFT's, and it would be impossible to fully explain them in the limitations of an FAQ. Do I need cryptocurrency to get involved in NFT's?The short answer is, no. However, the technology behind NFT's relies on a new age of the internet, commonly referred to as "Web 3.0". In essence, Web 1 was the creation of the internet. Web 2.0 was the creation of social media, and the interconnectedness of people on the internet. Web 3.0 can be summarized as the interconnectedness of everything on the internet. In Web 2.0, you log in with your username and password, your Google account, etc. In Web 3.0, you log in with your crypto wallet with two clicks. Currently, Web 3.0 doesn't exactly support what we call "fiat currency", A.K.A. USD, EUR, etc. The vast majority of NFT projects work on cryptocurrency & blockchains, and for that reason it's difficult to get into the world of NFT's without crypto. PATCH BAE NFT's are only available via cryptocurrency.
